Hello my name is Josie Ortega and I’m a recent graduate from California State University of Monterey Bay. I have dedicated three years in completing my B.A. degree on Collaborative Health & Human Services (CHHS) with a concentration on Social Work. In the program I completed 300 hours or more of internship experience in where I have dedicated myself in working with the oppressed members in my community. My passion for learning has put me back in school so I could further my education to support my family and local community.

The classes and internship experience that Collaborative Health & Human Services field offers has allowed me to be equipped with a “toolbox” of skills, knowledge and abilities for modern advancement in the health and human services field. My E-portfolio is a collection of my work & my reflections on the progress I have made towards my B.A. degree. My equitable assignments included demonstrate the successful completion of the Major Learning Outcomes required by the Collaborative Health and Human Services Department.

Please Review the Health Human Services and Public Policy website for further information about the degree program.
